MY JOURNEY
I come from a very diverse ancestry and being born and raised in a Southeast Asian nation, acquired multicultural influences. My father is a Swiss-German, and my mother's heritage is a mix of Filipino, Chinese and Portuguese.
My Swiss-German heritage instilled a strong work ethic in me. Throughout my life, I’ve approached every challenge with enthusiasm, creativity, and ceaseless desire to achieve success. This passion and drive paved the way to countless opportunities, unique experiences and exceptional relationships, both personally and professionally.
I faced considerable challenges as a young mother which taught me resourcefullness and perseverence. Now, fortunate to have built a life here in the United States, I approach each day with gratitude and a relentless focus on opportunity. Thriving in a new country has also further strengthened my ability to learn and adapt quickly.

OFFICE MANAGER, SOLUTIONS THAT WORK

Some of those roles include but are not limited to social media management & content creating, Vendor liaison - communicating ongoing and upcoming project relations, providing basic accounting support, as well as being responsible for corporate gift sourcing, approval, process and delivery arrangements. I am still very much growing and learning new skills here, such as project managing, drafting and issuing estimates and invoices, interior designing, and much more.
September 2017 - June 2021
ASST. MANAGER, HATTEN GROUP
I started with Hatten as an executive in their corporate communications, assisting in copywriting and events management more than anything else. I worked my way up to a senior level after 2 years, when I had gained more familiarity towards the needs and operations of the organization and top management. The following year, I was promoted to Assistant Manager where I independently managed and run the team in Malaysia while reporting to a remote Manager who was based in Singapore.
May 2016 - June 2017
SENIOR ACCOUNT/MEDIA MANAGER, SAMANEA PR
Working at Samanea, I was entrusted with leading the creative team and assisting them through strategizing, executing and delivery. I worked alongside the Business Dev Manager, and CEO on strategizing for new business pitch. The opportunity to train under the Chairman herself who co-founded the Public Relations Consultants Association of Malaysia (PRCAM), did not fall short in further supporting me of my admittedly ambitious goals to move up the next level of my career path.
April 2014 - May 2016
ADVERTISING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, AFFINITY WORLDWIDE
This is where I first walked into the world of advertising and public relations. In my duration of 2 years here, there was not a single day that went by uneventfully. The continuous tight datelines, hectic schedules and clientele demands were a wonderful challenge that opened up endless opportunities for me to tremendously grow in knowledge, experience and resilience. I will always be thankful to the Managing Director who personally ensured my success.
November 2012 - April 2014
ADMIN/CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER, STEVEN TELE-WORLD CENTRE
Serving as the main distributor and service center to all Samsung mobile phones and tablets, our role as customer service was first base in operations. We were required to directly receive, communicate and assist in problem solving between customers, technicians and Samsung headquarters. This resulted in me learning a great deal on technicalities when checking through software and settings for cause of malfunctions. Other responsibilities included dealing with reports and various administrative, as well as customer relations tasks.
August 2008 - October 2012
AGENCY SECRETARY, AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL ASSURANCE BERHAD
The organization consists of various teams and professionals who markets and sells insurance coverage for numeral purposes. It was a very fun experience working here in the frenzied yet cheerfully motivating atmosphere. I was assigned as secretary to one of the District Manager's and my job was to provide professional support to any task that was assigned to me. This included supervising and managing a team of agents and their needs, as well as the needs their clients.
Before 2008
CLERICAL, MARKETING, F&B
I begun venturing into income-earning ever since my high school semester breaks. With the determination and desire to be independent and explore the ways of the business world, I started from the bottom with part time jobs such as waitressing and serving behind bars for various cafes, fast food joints, ice cream parlors, hotdog stands, and a pool bar/restaurant. I also had the pleasure to experience door to door sales! One of my favorable experience among others, was working with children, both as a pre school teacher, and also during my employment as an assistant in a child modeling agency.
